Cats are my passion.

My name is Ashlynn, and I am the owner and groomer of Purr-fection Salon. My love for animals started at a young age growing up on a dairy farm. I have been an avid cat lover and cat owner for my entire life. Though, my love for grooming started in the horse world. For many years I clipped, groomed, and prepped my Arabian show horses—a task that takes a lot of time and skill to perform correctly. I also gained experience performing sedated veterinary cat grooms during my time as a veterinary assistant before attending and completing nursing school. I then became the owner of my Exotic Shorthair, Neiman, and Sphynx, Neil, who really pushed me to delve into the cat grooming world I have never turned back!

I am a Certified Feline Master Groomer and a current member of the National Cat Groomers Institute of America (NCGI), which provides some of the highest standards for cat grooming and cat grooming education in the world. I possess a high level of feline intuition, patience, love, and compassion for all cats. I will always treat your cat like my own.

I specialize in mat/pelt removals and preventative routines as well as aggressive felines. If your cat requires sedated grooming, I will partner with a local veterinary clinic in order to bring you this service. My focus is always on the well-being of a cat during a groom and I strive for safe, quality grooms over quantity. Your cat will always receive one-on-one grooming in order to provide the best and least stressful experience. Happy, healthy cats are my passion!
